The room (twinroom) was roomy and clean with soundproof windows. The bathroom was quite small but enough with very well working shower (hot water enough). There was no traffic noise although the situation was central in Sultanahmet. The staff was very helpfull and they will inform you anything you want to know about Istanbul. To the tramstop was about three-four hundred meters. Many places of interest were near. Breakfast was simple but it was enough but fresh juice was missing. There are many tourist restaurants in surrounding but try to avoid many of them -expensive and average food . Go there where locals are having diner.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were always ready to fulfill any wish you had and give you useful tips and recommendations. Also the location was perfect: close to the main sights (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace) and the tramvay. And inspite of the central location the hotel room was quite thanks to the soundproof windows.
The location of the hotel is superb, the main attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are clean although not very spacious. The staff is very friendly and takes all the time needed to explain all the must-sees of Istanbul. Conclusion: an excellent place to stay for a city trip in Istanbul with a value for money that cannot be beaten.
The location is excellent next to old city center, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, the room is small but clean and comfortable
Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, excellent. Location to the sights we wanted to see. Cost.
The air con unit was too noisy to use at night and the hotel was in a noisy location thus not allowing for the window to be open all night. We booked B&B and on the last morning, due to an early flight, all we got for breakfast was an instant coffee and a muffin, nothing else.
Easy access to many of the main sights, shops and transport.
The wallas paper thin and one is able to here every sound from within the building. people screaming in the corridors at night, children crying and constant clumping up and down the stairs. In 48 hours I had less than 2 hours sleep as the internal noise was continual. External soundproofing is pretty good but hearing every water movement and sound within the building throughout the night is not fun.
Best location ever,,, we could walk to all the locations wanted to see Friendly, super helpful staff... an amazing value..
Very friendly staff and great location in the heart of the city. Excellent quality / price ratio.
Room is very small and dark.
The hotel is located in a very central place of the old town, close to Tram Station, Agia Sofia. Rooms are small but clean, the bathroom adequate with clean towels and soap/shampoos included. The hotel's staff very friendly
The breakfast is poor, very small variety of food to choose
I can highly recommend the hotel. Firstly, the location is perfect - close to all the major attractions, but in a less noisy sidestreet. The value for money is great. Also the staff was very friendly, another advantage is the free WiFi. The rooms are basic, but when visiting Istanbul, you will in any case only sleep there. The terace where breakfast is served but which also has a small bar open until 23:00, is magnificent with a view to the Hagia Sophia and a smaller mosque which is located directly next to the hotel.
Ac didnt work properly; breakfast is very basic; airport shuttle service from the hotel is overpriced, as they just use a general shuttle service that you can order yourself for half the price (which we did for the way back to the airport). So better book the shuttle individually in advance. Mosque next door could be too noisy for some, but actually its rather quiet and the Muezzin sings rather shortly, compared to Arab countries. Plus, you cant avoid that noise in any hotel, as the mosques are ubiquitous.
very personal and friendly service from everybody. I really felt at home and relaxed at all times. Location was perfect for so many things to see and area had a great vibe. would recommend this hotel to anyone.
From restaurant and terrace Nice view on Aya Sofia and small mosk, very old church hidden in basement
The hotel was extremely good value, views of the Aiga Sofia, and a great location for all the sights. The staff, especially Youseff, were friendly helpful and pleasant. Very good breakfast.
Its nicely located and is quiet.
The hotel was clean and comfotable, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was pleasant.
